When was the last time you heard good, old fashioned honesty from anyone? If you have it was not Kamala Harris! She isn’t alone though. In fact, at my seven decades I can list on one hand, using fingers and not my thumb, the honest people I have heard in politics.
They can’t be honest, you see. They need yours and my money so they have to come up with excuses to take it from us. It isn’t like we can refuse to give it to them! They even made up an entire branch of government to take our money. Think how much you would love to have access to all of our money and consider if you could ask for it sparingly.
Taxes are what D.C. calls the “legal” way to take our money. We have to pay it but the reality is they don’t have to spend it which lessens the need to take our money. Spend less, save more. It works that way you know? Ah, well, I can dream can’ t I? Thus far, dreaming is not taxed unless that dream is fulfilled. Ain’t that just the way of it? YES, if you had to think about it.
