First of all, we are in trying times. No one that I know is not wondering what is going on but, my generation has seen all this and our lives have been shaped by all this. It began in World War Two and has not let up since then. Further, if we go back to the first world war we see a line of demarcation from the “old” world to this one we are now struggling in. The aspect to note is the title of the war of 1914: the first World War. That war led to yet another one.
Before the first world war we were moving from the agrarian society to a more urban and educated society. One wonders if this move away from agriculture by so many, then gathered in small places, like cities, is part of the reason we are now bumping elbows of angst against one another. Too many people in one place divided by a world of so many places. Strange bedfellows placing too much importance on thought instead of making sure there is enough to eat for everyone. A concentration on ethereal thought versus a concentration on work. Work leaves little time for anything but practical thought. Practical thought is what gets necessities done.
Still, this is what we have and I point, critically, to ethereal thought. Not just the thought but the hierarchy of rank in thinking. Eating food has naught to do with dimensional transitions. Starving people are rarely worried about dimensions or time travel and to not starve points to the agrarian dimension (aforementioned) that is actually of value. High minded individuals seem to love a hierarchy. Hierarchy is only necessary to get things done; to work, not to think.
Yet, it is fascinating to watch and mull over. To see cause and effect on the sociological level. Not to mention the psychological level. Where this all comes out is predictable, shortages. Then comes the melee of starving people killing for a morsel to eat. Almost a movie script but then, movie scripts are usually based on some fact or other within the human experience.
OK, I’m done . . . for now.
