Funny thing, time. You’d think that we all had more than enough and then along comes the universe. What takes place in that universe is, at best, an educated guess but it seems to be true that no one has, as yet, found a planet with a clock on it. If Aliens wear time pieces this has not been reported so it must be a conspiracy. Surely, along the lengthy line since 1947, if we are to believe TV, somebody got a nice watch off a dead alien. Digital? Self winding? Information is not forthcoming as yet.
The question is, besides us on this busy little Earth, who else has time constraints? Do Venusian’s get to work at 8:00 am sharp? Off at 5? I have my suspicions where it concerns those on the moon but I’m not yet ready to go public with those. Heckle and Jekyll, I haven’t even seen a UFO yet. I’ve heard plenty about them and see them on TV and I’d like to trade my Jeep in on one but they’re darned difficult to find on a used car lot. Am I looking in the wrong part of the country?
I have a smidgen of an idea that God has no time restraints so what is it about His creating our universe and our planet that took only six days? This is a question I’ve asked “experts” before and gotten rather slim answers. To my way of thinking. a day for God is a bit longer than a day for us, seeing as how time can’t lay a glove on Him. Always was, always will be, if you read the Bible. I believe we are getting short shrift here on Earth but then, if we lived forever we’d have killed each other long ago. My guess is around 671 B.C.
Welcome to another of my tangents. I go off on these now and again. You’re welcome to come along on the ride.
