Let’s just take a step back and consider where we are in this world. With all the excitement, or sadness on one side of this political spectrum, Donald Trump is going to run our country again. I had hoped for this outcome as Harris is, sad to say, and I mean that sincerely, a pathetic politician among an entire cadre of pathetic politicians. I would go so far as to venture that most politicians, no matter which side of the aisle, are less than sterling. Still , we voted for them so we have only ourselves to blame when they put it to us with taxes, restrictions of liberty, or just ripping us off with a grin on their smug faces while calling us peons; tinkle, tinkle.
Politics is a harsh task master but, mostly, for those who voted for them. This is where Trump shines above all of them because, despite what the failing news organizations of the left are harping about him, Trump knows what he’s doing and he is for us not against us. A politician being against us is the dirty little secret hidden behind all those smiles on any given campaign trail and at any given time. Can you not feel the knife at your back?
America now is not the America when I was a dumb kid. The fact that I turned out to be a dumb adult is beside the point. Finding a good politician is kind of like finding a peach inside the box when you bought a bushel of apples. They come along unexpectedly and this is no way to run a world power. In fact, it is downright dangerous and four years of Trump will go like the flash from the muzzle of a rifle shot. Then what? This is what I ask myself on a minute to minute basis. Then what?
Enjoy life while you can is my motto but I also tell myself to hold up morality as an example because it is morality which has faded since I was a kid and I watched it happen in the 1960s. “The Pill!” The pill brought the free love of the 1960s and with it the fall of a moral America, Then came abortion if the pill didn’t work or a couple was just to excited to say, NO! Did any male ever consider just keeping his zipper up?
Life is made complicated so as to hide morality and that is the gist of this article. No man or woman has a lock on morality due to pressure to be immoral. I was, you may have been, most of us flirt with morality versus immorality and this is due to weakness of mind. Maybe even lack of knowledge of what God tells us is wrong?
Well, there I go spoiling everyone’s day and making myself look dumber than a rock. Except, I write this for you to read and your thought process is all I am seeking to stir. Isn’t it about time?
