Who (or What?) Will It Be?

We’re up to our necks, or down to the wire, with this upcoming election. All this time I’ve been fighting the tendency to want one person to win, Trump. However, I also will not allow myself to hope for one outcome or the other as I realized this morning that I was getting too involved in wishing for a human outcome versus the outcome of fate.

Fate is something that, when properly defined, is any result given time. There are varying degrees of control we have over outcomes but any human outcome is not necessarily the outcome that God wants to occur. If you are of a mind to love God then you are also of a mind to understand that it is His outcome that we need to wish for as we don’t know jack about the future.

Despite all the alluring scifi that people can manufacture the outcome of this world is now on a program that concerns fate as dictated by two warring segments of other worldly beings. It is this combat that we are caught up in and it isn’t a surprise as it has been seen to that we have writings that fill us in on the nuance of these events. What to look for and how to handle it.

It is the handling that I decided I needed to surrender to, as fate is not what this is. It is the plan defined eons ago by a supreme being that knows all timelines and consequences. God, in a word. What God’s will is will occur despite our wishes and this is what this election will boil down to. Believe it or not, this has always been the case but fictive writing and poorly made movies have rather blurred the lines of reality. It is interesting stuff to watch though.
