We hear, ad nauseam, the topic of global warming. Did you know that the father’s of the politically inclined scientists of this generation were calling for an impending Ice Age in the 1970s? It was the same bunk then as now and even then the Earth was warming as it is now in its natural cycle. The Earth warms and then the Earth cools, as to climate, and this has to do with universal cycles in sun, moon and near stars and planets. Does mankind contribute to it? Certainly, but not enough to influence the engine of this planet.
What changed in the 1970s was that none of these scientists told the Earth that it was going to be another Ice Age so, instead, the Earth provided a long, hot drought that fried the U.S. That drought ended after several dry years and temperatures assumed normalcy again. Cycles, always remember cycles and the fact that mankind can influence climate only a small iota but cannot, except with a nuclear holocaust, influence what the Earth wants to do by itself; with or without mankind.
It ALWAYS has done what it needs to do! This is why we’re here! It works just fine so don’t try to meddle with the Earth. We aren’t smart enough! We are, however, stupid enough, given the potential nuclear holocaust around every corner now that we invented the atomic bomb. That was not a good idea and neither are more than half of our ideas. Leave well enough alone and relax. Our planet is in control, given its chosen place in the universe, and waiting to prove it if we continue to meddle with processes we don’t even half understand.
